Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime, Galaxy J7 Prime 32GB Storage variants launched in India: Price, Specs and features



Samsung on Thursday unveiled new 32GB storage models of the Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime in India. The smartphones earlier came in just 16GB storage and were launched back in September last year.

The South Korean company announced the availability of the new storage model in a tweet. The company wrote, "Get more space than before! GalaxyJ7 J5Prime now come in a 32GB variant for more room for your favourites. Buy now!" in a tweet.

The all-new 32GB Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime will be available at Rs. 16,900 while the Galaxy J5 Prime is available at Rs. 14,900.

Apart from the inbuilt storage bump and 4G VoLTE support, there is nothing new in the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Specifications and features 

The smartphone bears a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4, and runs on a 1.6GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The Galaxy J7 Prime features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, while there is an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/1.9 aperture also on board. The smartphone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card. It is powered by a 3300mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime has a smaller 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and runs on a 1.4GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The Galaxy J5 Prime features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, while there is an 5-megapixel front camera with an f/1.9 aperture also on board. The smartphone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). It is powered by a 2400mAh battery.
